Et je vous souhaite un…

Et voilà! Nous y sommes! Ce week-end, j’espère que vous vous régalerez avec vos proches autour d’un bon repas, que Papa Noël sera généreux et que vous découvrirez plein de jolis cadeaux dans vos souliers au pied du sapin! En parlant de souliers, j’ai appris que Chloé réédite ses fameuses Susan  (rebaptisées Susanna pour l’occasion) en noir, rouge et beige (Je me demande bien à quoi elles ressemblent dans ce coloris-là) : Ahhh! ces boots qui m’ont retourné le coeur en 2009 sont de retour! Bien sûr, des placebos, il y en a eu des dizaines mais jamais ils n’ont égalé l’original (et pourtant je les aime toujours mes petites bottines Topshop!).

Pour l’instant, je n’imagine pas vraiment les avoir aux pieds puisque ma fougue s’est un peu amoindrie ( leur prix en revanche n’a pas changé) mais ces quelques photos ont tendance à rallumer ma flamme… lentement mais sûrement. Allez allez, on se concentre sur Noël et on verra après! Plein de bisous, de chocolats et… Joyeux Noël!

Tadaa! Here we are! I very much hope you’ll spend this weekend feasting with your family around a good meal, that Santa Claus will have been generous and that you’ll discover lots of pretty presents in your Christmas stocking! Talking about stockings (and thus shoes – bear with me) I learned that Chloe is soon to reedit its famous Susan (rebaptised Susanna for the occasion) in black, red and beige (I really wonder what they’ll look like in that color) : Ahhh! the boots that caught my heart in 2009 are back! Of course, there are placebos by the dozen, but they never really were up to the level of the original ones (even if I still really love my little Topshop boots!).

For the moment, I don’t really imagine having them on, since my love is somewhat less vivacious (the price hasn’t changed however) but these couple pictures do tend to rekindle the flame … slowly but surely. Well well, come on now, lets concentrate on Christmas, and we’ll see about them afterwards! Lots and lots of chocolatey kisses and … a very merry Christmas to you! My moodboard

En ce moment, je dirais que j’ai un peu de mal à trouver l’inspiration lorsque j’ouvre mon armoire pour m’habiller. Je n’oserais pas dire que je n’ai plus rien à me mettre (ou j’obtiendrais un gloussement narquois de la part de mon homme) mais moi qui clamais haut et fort que ma saison préférée c’était l’hiver, vestimentairement parlant, j’admets qu’un petit 20 degrés de derrière les fagots (ensoleillé et sans vent si possible), c’est la perfection pour trouver de jolies tenues sans trop réfléchir.

Du coup, je me suis dit qu’un petit « moodboard » serait utile pour remettre les idées en place, visualiser ce que j’aimerais porter, repérer les accessoires et habits qui me font craquer. A défaut d’en avoir réalisé un vrai en découpant dans les magazines et en punaisant les photos sur un tableau en liège, j’en fabrique un ici avec vous! (L’avantage c’est que mes magazines restent intacts !).  Ranger mon armoire serait aussi un premier pas pour se rafraîchir les idées mais attendez, attendez…une chose à la fois s’il vous plaît!

These days I’d say that I’m a bit struggling to find inspiration when I open my wardrobe to get dressed up. I won’t dare to say that I don’t have anything to wear anymore (otherwise I would get a mocking chuckle from my hubby) but I, who claimed loud and clear that winter was my favourite season, in terms of clothing, have to admit that a small 20 degrees Celsius just out of the blue (sunny and without wind if possible) would be perfection for finding nice outfits without too much thinking.

So I thought that a small « mood board » would be useful to clear my head, visualize what I would like to wear, spot the accessories and clothes that I like most. Instead of making one for real by cutting photos out of magazines and pinning them onto a cork board, I’m just making one here with you! (the advantage is that my magazines remain intact this way!). Sorting out my wardrobe would also be a first step towards refreshing ideas but hold on, hold on… one thing at a time please! (English translation by LN)
