Ceux qui me lisent depuis un moment connaissent le lien qui m’unit avec la chanteuse Alizée, j’en avais déjà parlé là. Mais outre ce lien graphique, nous avons depuis le temps sympathisé puisque l’intérêt pour la mode, Robert Pattinson (Hiiii !) et les Kawaïeries nous rapproche.
Le week-end dernier, nous nous sommes revues, en compagnie de ses amis Ajacciens de toujours, Pierantoine et Johanna. Autant vous dire que de telles rencontres pleines de fraîcheur et de simplicité, ça fait un bien fou : Le soleil Corse a envahi Paris le temps d’une journée. Voici donc regroupés dans ce billet « mode-nourriture-friends » les morceaux choisis de cette journée pétillante.
Those of you who have been reading me for a while know about what unites me with the singer Alizée, I had already talked about it here. But apart from this graphic connection, we have since sympathized: our interests for fashion, Robert Pattinson (Hiiii !) and all things kawaï have brought us closer.
Last weekend, we saw each other again, with 2 of her friends from Ajaccio that she has known forever, Pierantoine and Johanna. Let me just tell you that such simple and fun get togethers are incredibly refreshing : the corsican sun shone upon Paris for a day. In this « fashion-food-friends » post, you’ll find the best of this very bubbly day.
Nous avons choisi de nous restaurer au HAPPY DAYS DINER (6-8 Square Ste Croix de la Bretonnerie dans le Marais) pour profiter du décor Fifties de l’endroit et dans un tel environnement rose bonbon, l’imagination va bon train. Comme nous étions tous les 4 nourris au berceau par les séries AB et le Club Dorothée, forcément, les blagues autour de la cafet’ de Premiers Baisers allaient bon train. Oui je sais, les références culturelles sont de haute volée mais que voulez-vous ! On ne choisit pas sa Madeleine de Proust !
We chose to have lunch at the HAPPY DAYS DINER (6-8 Square Ste Croix de la Bretonnerie, in the Marais) to enjoy the Fifties setting of the place; and in such a bubble-gum pink environnement, imaginations go wild. Since all 4 of us grew up with AB series and the Club Dorothée, of course, jokes referring to the « Premiers Baisers’ » cafeteria were fusing. Yes, I know, those cultural references aren’t very deep, but what can one do, you can’t always choose your childhood references !
Alizée a étrenné sa nouvelle coque d’Iphone dénichée dans un magasin type droguerie-perlerie du coin (Nous avons bien dû y rester une bonne heure !) : c’était le paradis des accessoires, perles et fils pour bracelets homemade ! Du coup mon petit Panda essayait de faire de l’oeil à la nouvelle venue angélique, le coquinou ! (« Hey mad’moiselle, c’est quoi ton 06 ? »)
Alizée took her new Iphone case out for the first time, that she found in a hardware store nearby (we must have stayed at least an hour !): it was a paradise for accessories, pearls and threads for homemade bracelets ! My cheeky little Panda was trying to get the attention of the angelic newcomer ! (Hey miss, can I have your number ?)

Au menu, j’ai choisi le Tony burger ( en hommage à Tony Miceli de Madame est servie) à base de steak haché, mozarella, coppa, aubergines, tomates confites, sauce au pistou : Un délice ! Et en dessert un milk shake aux biscuits oreos. Parfait ! Tout le monde était ravi de ce qu’il avait choisi, je n’y étais jamais allée et j’y retournerai certainement !
I chose the Tony Burger on the menu (in honor of Tony Miceli of Who’s the Boss) with a steak, mozarella, coppa, eggplants, tomatoes and pistou sauce: delicious! For dessert, I had an oreo cookies milkshake. Perfect ! Everyone was delighted with their choices, I had never been to this restaurant before, but will be going back for sure !
Après le repas, nous sommes restés un moment sur place pour papoter lorsque soudain Pierantoine s’écrie : « Rosyyyyy !!! » Nos 4 paires d’yeux s’illuminent illico. Mais siiiii ! Rosy et son Yoyo d’amour (le beau gosse jouant du tam-tam dans le garage = je m’enfonce je m’enfonce…). Oui Rosy est là devant nous, en train de s’installer sur une banquette du HD Diner. Vous voyez bien de qui nous voulons parler ! Non, vous ne voyez pas ? Tant pis, nous rangerons nos somptueuses références au grenier.

After lunch, we stayed put for a while and chatted away until all of a sudden, Pierantoine exclaimed : « Rosyyyyyyyyyy!! » our 4 pair of eyes started shining immediately. Rosy and her dear Yo Yo (the cute guy who played tam tam in the garage = I’m digging my grave with all these references to those childhood tv series). Yes Rosy was there right in front of us, taking a seat in the HD Diner. You know who I’m talking about right? No, you don’t ? Anyway, never mind, let’s pack away all those glorious references.

Alizée en parfaite blogueuse mode dans l’âme, me souffle à l’oreille qu’elle portait un headband Zara, un tee shirt Sandro, un perfecto et un sac Balenciaga, un sarouel plissé Jean Paul Gaultier Enfant et ses nouvelles baskets en denim Isabel Marant achetées la veille ! Cool non ?
Alizée has the spirit of a perfect fashion blogger and is letting me know she wore a Zara headband, a Sandro t-shirt, a perfecto and bag from Balenciaga, a pair of pleated harem pants from the Jean Paul Gaultier Kid’s section and her new denim Isabel Marant sneakers bought the day before. Pretty cool huh?
Pierantoine et Johanna font leur plus belle gueule d’amour pendant que nous faisons un combat de 2 doigts coupe faim. Pierantoine and Johanna give us their best smiles while we engage in a finger war.
Puis après-midi shopping endiablée dans le Marais : American Apparel, Zadig et Voltaire (Alizée a craqué sur un super gilet à plumes que j’ai hâte de voir en situation !), Iro, Muji… je crois qu’on a tout ratissé. Passage aux Champs Elysées ensuite pour une virée chez Zara et H&M.
Chez Zara, nous avons toutes jeté notre dévolu sur quelque chose (j’ai pris des tee shirts dont un rose fraise tagada bien cool… et Johanna aussi ! ) tandis que Pierantoine laisse sa peau chez H&M. Puis arrive la fin de la journée, on s’embrasse, on se quitte mais des jours heureux il y ‘en aura encore plein, c’est certain.
The day went on with a crazy afternoon of shopping in the Marais: American Apparel, Zadig&Voltaire (Alizée fell in love with an incredible feather cardigan that I can’t wait to see in action!), Iro, Muji, … I think we went everywhere. Then off we went to the Champs Elysées for a shopping spree at Zara and H&M .
At Zara, we all went head over heels for something (I left with some tshirts, one of which is the color of Haribo’s Fraise Tagada, and so did Johanna!) whereas Pierantoine went nuts at H&M. At the end of the day we all said goodbye and went on our ways, but those kind of happy days aren’t over, and there will be plenty more, that’s for sure ! (English translation by Bleu Marine)
