Pourquoi ai-je donc été invitée à Milan par Stefanel ? Pour profiter du soleil ? Pas vraiment !… Plutôt pour découvrir la collection de l’hiver prochain (Autant dire qu’il fallait avoir des capacités de projection énorme avec ce beau temps) mais au final, le coup de coeur fut au rendez-vous. Je connaissais la marque assez succinctement et j’étais loin de me douter qu’elle avait tant dynamisé son image.
So why did Stefanel invite me to go to Milan ? To take in the sun ? Not really ! … It was more about discovering the winter collection (Let me just say that a huge projection capacity was needed here with the current beautiful weather) but in the end, it was a total crush. I already knew the brand from afar, and I was far from imagining they had given their image such a dynamic boost.
C’est donc dans la suite 605 (et non dans la chambre 106 qui s’allume, Mawie -Théwèse…) de l’hôtel Park Hyatt que j’ai pu admirer une collection très chic mais décontractée à la fois, des matières nobles et des coupes travaillées. Ce que j’ai aimé dans l’esprit de cette collection hivernale, c’est ce mélange masculin-féminin-confortable-tout ça à la fois dont je suis fan.
J’ai adoré les lainages dans lesquels on imagine bien s’y lover et ce manteau oversize en tweed.
In the 605 suite of the Park Hyatt, I got to admire a very chic and yet laid back collection, with noble materials and elaborate cuts. What I really loved in the spirit of this winter collection is the masculine-feminine-comfortable-all together mix, of which I am such a huge fan.
I loved the wools, that you can totally see yourself snuggling in, and this oversize tweed coat.
Quand c’est porté, ça a de l’allure hein ? J’imagine d’ailleurs ce manteau avec une robe plus féminine ou alors un slim tout simple et ces boots velues. Le style parfait selon moi.
Doesn’t it look good when worn? I also imagine this coat with a more feminine dress or a pair of simple slim cut jeans and these furry boots. I find the style perfect.
… et ce pull un peu patchwork aux accents de « je-m’en-foutisme » mais de « je-m’en-foutisme » avec élégance… Nuance ! Désinvolture racée , nous dirons.
… and this somewhat patchwork looking sweater, with its « I-don’t-give-a-damn » attitude, but an elegant « I-don’t-give-a-damn » … that’s all the subtelty of it! Let’s call it casually classy.
Au delà de la collection, j’ai adhéré à la bonne humeur de cette journée Milanaise passée en compagnie de monsieur Giuseppe Stefanel, de l’équipe Stefanel et de blogueurs cosmopolites avec qui j’ai pu sympathiser. J’en ai donc profité pour photographier quelques détails des looks des convives : Les bracelets multicolores d’Isabella de l’équipe Stefanel et en arrière-plan, ce mètre ruban enroulé autour du poignet : Idée géniale !
Cherry on top, I loved the good mood atmosphere of this day in Milan with mister Giuseppe Stefanel, of the Stefanel team and of the cosmopolitan bloggers that I got to meet. On that occasion, I took a couple pictures of the guests’ looks: here are Isabellas’ (from the Stefanel team) multicolored bracelets and in the background, this meter tape wrapped around the wrist: what a great idea !
