Last tuesday, I had the opportunity to attend the autumn-winter 2013-2014 Jean-Charles de Castelbajac fashion show. The collection was presented in an absolutely grandiose shrine-like location, the Louvre’s Oratory.
To enjoy the show at its most, I came without my camera (but you might have seen 2 Iphone pictures on my Instagram account, to share live) and gosh is it nice to admire a fashion show without having to be concerned with technology! I’m returning today on the outfits that caught my eye. The theme was « Foxy Lady ».
My favorites where the black and white series and those with the big tawny tartan. There is still a lot of humour and tricks in the JCDC creations (the shoulder pads/ears of the fox dress) but also a lot of elegance. It’s a mischevious yet grounded: a good balance, that is more than successful. (English translation by Bleu Marine)
