My beautiful books

· Decoration, Fashion

This winter weather is ideal for a cocooning moment on the sofa. And what can be cosier than dreaming in front of beautiful books, along with a steaming cup of tea or hot chocolate?

Here is a selection of beautiful books I have in my bookshelves (=which are actually still boxes that I haven’t finished to organized in my desk yet): some are Christmas gifts, I bought some others along the years. I am always immersed in their world: I never get bored of admiring them page after page.

The Kinfolk table

The Kinfolk table by Nathan Williams
Mug Rabito
Wooden tray Serax

I’ve already got the “Kinfolk Home” book, which gathered a lot of ideas for simple and natural designs from which I got inspiration during our refurbishment work. My SO bought me for Christmas the second opus from “Kinfolk table” and I am so happy about it.

Carpet La Redoute intérieurs

This book doesn’t only include nice kitchen inspiration pictures but also has a few recipes that I will need to try out in my new culinary laboratory!

Toy Story : the secrets of an iconic trilogy

Toy Story is one of my favorite animation movies and this book is a little golden mine for the backstages, storyboard sketches and other shots from the movie. Thanks Lionelou for this perfect gift.

Lotso and Buzz, my favorite characters <3

My collection of books about Wes Anderson

The Grand Budapest Hotel by Matt Zoller Seitz
Bad Dads by Spoke Art Gallery
The Wes Anderson collection by Matt Zoller Seitz

I’ve been whorshipping “The Grand Budapest Hotel” and Wes Anderson visual identity: if you are like me, here are 3 must-have books full of poetic images, pastel colors and perfect symmetry. (English translation by Quiterie)

    Bonjour,
    Cathie
