Quand des chaussures ont assez de personnalité initialement, il est difficile de trouver une tenue à construire autour pour ne pas faire « Too Much ». Pour ces baskets léopard , je voulais tenter un look en leur laissant le noeud sur la tête , d’une part pour l’amour du risque et aussi car c’est tout de même leur particularité première (oui… l’imprimé léo à la limite, c’est presque devenu la routine… il ne nous étonne plus vraiment!). Il a donc fallu cogiter pour tenter de calmer le reste: j’ai tout de même sorti les rayures pour ne pas tomber dans le « noir c’est noir » et le legging façon cuir pour ne pas tomber dans le « trop classique ». Et ce grand manteau, si vous me suivez depuis quelques années, vous le connaissez, il va avec tout.
Je suis sûre que sans les noeuds, une ribambelle de looks plus évidents me viendraient à l’esprit. Je ne manquerai pas de vous les montrer une prochaine fois… En attendant je vous laisse cogiter de votre côté et on se donne rendez-vous pour brainstormer!
When shoes have a personality of their own, it’s hard to bring an outfit together around them that won’t be screaming « Over the Top ». For these leopard sneakers, I wanted to try a look that would let them keep the bows. First off because I like living dangerously and also because that is, after all, their first particularity. (Yes … the leopard print has almost become a routine now … it’s not really a surprise anymore!). So I needed to think real hard about this to keep the rest of the outfit low key : I still brought out the stripes so as not to fall into an all black look, and the simili-leather leggings keep it from being too classical. And this coat, well if you’ve been following me for a couple years now, you know it well : it goes with everything.
I’m pretty sure that without the bows, quite a number of easier looks would come to mind. I won’t forget to show them to you some other time. Meanwhile, why don’t we all give it some thought, and we can meet up for a brainstorming session! (English translation by Bleu marine)
