My last finds: A leopard snood: I found it in H&M. It’s gonna expand my snood collection and my leopard accessories collection. What am I missing with a leopard pattern? I wonder! Voici la tenue que je portais pour aller voir (un peu après tout le monde j’ai l’impression) le film « Mes meilleures amies » le week-end dernier. Un look dans les camaïeux de gris et noir de la tête aux chevilles puis vous tombez nez à nez avec ces derbies à paillettes , plus confortables tu meurs et plus scintillantes tu meurs aussi. Ces derbies ajoutent un petit effet de surprise à la tenue un peu grisâtre.
Le film était donc à leur image: une réelle surprise au milieu de ce temps maussade. Je m’attendais à une énième comédie romantique aux différentes séquences téléphonées d’avance . J’avais vaguement regardé la bande-annonce, qui à mon humble avis ne donne pas vraiment envie d’aller le voir et j’ai été battue par K.O par du grand délire comme je les aime, de l’humour décomplexé, parfois régressif qui rebondit d’une scène à l’autre, des personnages attachants, charismatiques et pétillants.
Une histoire simple autour d’une amitié entre filles qui a réussi à me faire rire sans ménagement et à attendrir mon petit coeur tout mou (car les bons sentiments sont de la partie, obligé). Séduite j’ai été (et comme Maître Yoda je parle). C’est dans ces moments-là qu’on apprécie d’aller s’enfermer dans les salles obscures pour passer un bon moment hilare … grâce à la complicité du mauvais temps.
Here’s the outfit I wore to go see (after everyone already has, as it seems) « Bridesmaids » last weekend. An outfit all in shades of black and gray, from head to heels at least, for that is when you spot those sparkling derbies. You can’t possibly make anything more comfortable than those shoes, or more sparkly for that matter. They add a little « surprise! » effect to an otherwise rather grayish ensemble.
The movie was kind of like those derbies : a real surprise amidst all this bad weather. I was expecting yet another romantic comedy where every sequence can be guessed in advance. I had vaguely seen the trailer, of which I personally found that it doesn’t really make you want to go see the real thing. I ended up finding a delirious movie of the kind I love: uninhibited humor, childish humor sometimes even, that springs from one scene to the next, with incredibly engaging and charismatic characters.
A simple story based around the friendship between a couple of girls. I laughed my heart out and the latter turned all soft. Seduced I was (for as Yoda, I speak). It’s in those moments you learn to enjoy being pent up in a dark room to have a bit of a laughing marathon…thanks to the bad weather. (English translation by Bleu Marine)

Il y a quelque temps, vous avez découvert ce perfecto nu, étendu lascivement de tout son long sur mon armoire. Aujourd’hui , vous le découvrez « habillé » de ma personne grâce à la météo en berne du moment . Pour l’instant , toujours pas de lassitude de l’imprimé léopard de mon côté alors qu’on prédit la reprise du flambeau par l’imprimé python cette saison .
J’ai porté cette fois mon perfecto en association avec une robe en tulle pour donner un petit côté romantique au léopard. Je le porte en général avec un jean slim et un tee shirt mais j’ai pensé qu’il pouvait également s’acoquiner avec une robe plus féminine. J’aurai certainement l’occasion de vous le montrer à maintes reprises cet automne: il faut d’ailleurs que je le porte régulièrement car je sens que plus il va vieillir, plus il risque de s’embellir…
A while back, you discovered this perfecto « naked », spread wide across my closet doors. Today, you discover it clothed, with myself, thanks to this incredibly odd weather we’re having right now. For the moment, still not bored with the leopard print even though python has been predicted to be fall’s it-print.
This time I wore the perfecto with my tulle dress to give the leopard a little romantic vibe. I generally wear it with skinny jeans and a tshirt, but I thought it might just as well flirt with a more womanly dress. I’ll most certainly have the opportunity to show it off on many occasions this fall : I need to wear it regularly, I feel the more it’ll age, the more beautiful it’ll become.
