It’s springtime !

Petit interlude dans notre voyage coréen. C’est le printemps ! Pour ma 3ème collaboration avec le site Les Bijoux précieux, j’ai concocté un petit look de printemps !

J’ai donc choisi de porter une marinière avec mon blazer navy… et toujours ce short en jean, que je porterai même lorsque j’aurai 80 ans (je me réserve le droit de ne pas poster de photo de ma tenue lorsque cette heure arrivera, pour le bonheur de vos yeux, ces mêmes yeux qui verront sans doute moins bien qu’à l’heure actuelle et nécessiteront peut-être une salvatrice opération de la cataracte… bref !).

En attendant, je le porte avec mes fameux collants invisibles et mes escarpins rouge. Et si j’avais porté des bijoux, qu’aurais-je choisi ? La réponse est ici !

Small interlude in our Korean journey. It’s springtime! For my 3rd collaboration with the Bijoux précieux website (« precious jewellery » in English), I’ve concocted a little spring look!

I chose to wear a marinière with my navy blazer… and yet again these jean shorts, which I’ll be wearing even when I’m 80 years old (I reserve the right not to post a picture of my outfit when this time comes, for the happiness of your eyes, these same eyes that probably won’t be seeing as good as now and may then need a saving cataract operation… anyway.)

Meanwhile I’m wearing them with my famous invisible tights and my red pumps. And if I had been wearing jewellery, what would I have picked? The answer is here! (English translation by LN)

Trompe-l’œil

Je cherchais ce genre de collants depuis des lustres et j’ai enfin mis la main dessus !!! Je veux parler des collants chaussettes hautes trompe-l’œil ! Le truc génial par excellence.

J’avais déjà pu voir sur le net des collants porte-jarretelles trompe-l’œil mais ce n’est pas vraiment mon style… Un peu trop « Moulin Rouge » pour moi, surtout pour descendre chercher sa baguette ! Mais ceux-là, je les aime ! Le problème de la chaussette qui glisse sur la jambe c’est fini ! Vite ! Il faut que j’en fasse une réserve !

I’ve been looking for this kind of tights for ages and I’ve finally found them!!! I’m talking about the trompe l’oeil thigh-high tights! The absolute brilliant must-have.

I had already been able to see trompe-l’oeil suspender tights online but this isn’t really my style… A bit too much « Moulin Rouge » for me, especially to go buy some bread! But with those! I’m all for it! The problem of the sock slipping down the leg is over! Quick! I’ve got to make sure I keep enough in stock! (English translation by LN)

Cliché parisien

Voici la tenue-type de la Parisienne dans l’esprit des étrangers. Le cliché (On enlève juste ma tête de citron et c’est bon). Une marinière, un manteau, des boots, une baguette, un béret, c’est l’essence-même de la simplicité.

J’ai l’impression que c’est ce qui rend admiratives les non-françaises alors que nous, nous trouvons souvent ce look sans intérêt. Un petit intérêt quand même car ce look m’a permis de ressortir mes boots Dickers qui commençaient à se sentir menacées par les suédoises Pistol. Mais oui, petites Dickers, je vous aime toujours !

Here’s the typical Parisian outfit in the mind of foreigners. A total cliché (leave my head out of it, and it’s perfect). Sailor stripes, a coat, boots, a baguette, a beret it’s the very essence of simplicity.

I get the feeling that it’s what non-French find fascinating, but for us, it’s totally banal. Not totally without interest though, since I got my Dickers boots back out of my wardrobe; they were starting to feed threatened by the swedish Pistol. Don’t worry Dickers, I still love you! Le « Moi » de Février

Voici venue l’heure de notre rendez-vous mensuel ! Je rassemble mes esprits et je dois faire mon choix parmi ces looks !

+ aimé : Il me semble que c’est le look « marinière » qui a eu le plus de succès auprès de vous. Je l’aime beaucoup également mais je crois que ma préférence va quand même au look avec mon teddy… Forcément moins élégant mais je suis tellement à l’aise avec ce bon vieux short en jean !

-aimé : ce mois-ci, rien de très grave à déclarer. Mais s’il faut chipoter un peu, je choisirais la tenue avec la chemise carreaux. Comme je le disais, j’aurais bien aimé porter des chaussures plus féminines avec. Ce sera pour une prochaine fois !

And here we are again: it is time for our monthly meeting! Let me gather my thoughts, and make my choice among these outfits!

+ liked: I think it’s this « sailor stripe » look that got the most votes amongst you all. I also liked it alot, but I believe the one I most enjoyed was the one with my teddy jacket … Not as elegant, but I’m so comfortable with this old pair of jeans shorts!

- liked : this time around, nothing serious to report. But I think if we have to nitpick, I’d go with the check print shirt. As I was saying, I would have liked to wear more feminine shoes with it. It’ll be for another time! (English translation by Bleu Marine)
