I briefly told you about the renovation work in my bathroom, so here is a quick glance at the work finally done! It only misses a few touches of deco to make it cozier and personal but the biggest part of the work is here.

 

Scandinavian inspiration

As you can see, my SO and me, spent hours on Pinterest to find our inspirations: black and white minimalism. Not very original but the rendering gives a very good feeling!

I’m thinking about drawing something to hang on the wall so we don’t feel like being in a Scandinavian deco magazine!

Everything in the drawers !

We hide all the ugliness that could affect this place made for relaxing (thanks to the storages from Ikea): all my beauty products are compartmentalized in drawers (advantage= away from dust and hard water) and I empty my liquid soaps and ugly shampoo into sober bottles from Muji.

The Aesop soap gives the impression it’s been taken from an Instagram picture, but it really smells good!

Also, I finally fulfilled my fantasy of a wooden tray for bathtub! I had dreamt about it forever: what a pleasure to watch a romantico-cheesy movie (Daniel Henneyyyy !<3) while surrounded by foam! Perfect to start the week hehe!

To change our minds from this autumn weather, here are my latest findings, which I hope will warm up a bit the ambiance.

As you know, I love offbeat objects and accessories, and I recently couldn’t resist to buy this iPhone case which might be a bit difficult to hide.

Louvre Pyramid

The last weekend, despite of the bad weather, we went to the Louvre to see the new piece of art of the artist JR, created with the famous Pyramid. You may have seen this ingenious feat on the social media. Success usually comes with a price and you need to jostle to get THE good spot and capture the right picture in the middle of the crowd.

After the fight (haha), I decided to immortalized my look. Which was matching perfectly with the weather: I took out my “angry Mickey shirt” shirt as well as my grey trench. Newbies on my feet: these silver derbies, same as my white ones, which I ordered for their unbeatable comfort! (English translation by Quiterie)
