Les vêtements de ma wish list sont presque tous trouvés ! Le problématique chapeau ne fait plus partie de la liste ! En effet, lorsque j’ai posté l’article en question, j’ai reçu pas mal de pistes pour les grosses têtes en mal de chapeau… dont le Tweet de Stéphanie me disant que je pourrais trouver mon bonheur chez Reiss ! Pas mal de choix sur le site et surtout… un chapeau beige ! En quelques clics, le voilà ici avec ma tête qui rentre bien dedans.

Le seul problème peut-être, c’est le vent : je n’ai pas encore trouvé le moyen pour que mon chapeau ne s’envole pas lorsqu’Éole fait des caprices… En même temps, ça me fera bouger un peu pour le rattraper !

I’ve found almost all the clothes of my wishlist! The problematic hat is no longer part of the list! Indeed, when I published that post I received quite a few hints for big heads not able to find a suitable hat… including Stéphanie’s Tweet saying that I would find my happiness on Reiss! Not bad the choice on the website, especially… a beige hat! A few clicks and here it is with my head fitting just right in it.

The only issue maybe is the wind: I haven’t found a way yet to avoid that my hat flies away whenever Zephyr throws a tantrum… At the same time this will make me work out a bit to get it back! (English translation by LN)

Le « Moi » d’Octobre

On se retrouve chaque fin de mois pour le bilan de mes tenues ! Ouh la la ça sent l’hiver ce mois-ci ! Je crois qu’aucune tenue ne m’a fait grincer des dents après coup mais il faut bien choisir laquelle j’ai préférée et celle que j’ai le moins aimé, c’est le jeu !

+aimé : J’hésite entre la tenue au pull rouge et celle au pull « fantôme ». J’ai adoré porter ces tenues parce qu’encore une fois elles ont mêlé le confort et une pincée de féminité. Allez, je tranche en disant que c’est la tenue au pull rouge que j’ai préférée parce le mélange des matières et motifs était assez intéressant.

-aimé: c’est assez difficile de me décider cette fois-ci car je ne suis pas en mesure de renier une tenue ce mois-ci (Quelle bonté !). Cela dit, j’aime moins ma tenue avec escarpins car je ne la sens pas totalement aboutie. Je pense qu’avec un manteau beige, ça aurait bien fini la chose. Je ne sais pas vraiment quelle coupe ni quelle modèle de manteau beige mais quelque chose de jeté sur les épaules de couleur beige aurait été sympathique il me semble.

We meet at the end of every month for a sum up of my outfits! Ohh this month is definitively wintery! I don’t think any outfit made me cringe subsequently, but I do have to choose which one I liked best and which one least, these are the rules!

+ liked: I’m hesitating between the outfit with the red sweater and the one with the « ghost » sweater. I loved these outfits because once again, they mixed comfort and a pinch of feminity. If I really have to choose, I’ll say I liked the red sweater outfit best, because I found the mix of materials and prints pretty interesting.

– liked: It was much harder to decide this time, for I can’t really disown any outfit this month (What kindness on my part!). That said, I don’t like the outfit with the pumps quite as much as the others, for I feel it’s not entirely accomplished. I think a beige coat would have finished it off nicely. I don’t really know what cut or type of beige coat, but something thrown over the shoulders, and of a beige color, I’m pretty sure that would have been nice. (English translation by Bleu Marine)

Le pull zébré

Je ne perds pas de vue ma wish list d’automne ! J’ai finalement craqué pour le pull zébré Iro ! À y regarder de plus près, l’imprimé ressemble plus à celui d’un tigre blanc qu’à un zèbre mais pour faciliter sa désignation, on va l’appeler « pull zébré ».

Comme je vous l’ai dit la dernière fois, j’hésitais avec celui de chez Mango mais ayant pu toucher ce dernier en boutique, je me suis rendue à l’évidence : il est bien trop fin pour contrer les températures glaciales du moment, et puis tricoté ultra lâche, bonjour les courants d’air, l’angine, la rhinopharyngite et tous nos copains trop envahissants de l’hiver…

C’est vrai qu’il y a quand même une différence de prix entre les deux (et ça m’aurait arrangé de préférer le pull Mango) mais celui de chez Iro est vraiment très chaud et je pense qu’il ira avec pas mal de choses (un slim rouge par exemple …oui oui je suis toujours en quête, toujours pas eu le temps de passer dans un Zara !). Bon, un de moins dans la liste, qui sera le prochain ?

I’m not forgetting my fall wishlist! I finally went for the Iro zebra-striped sweater! If you look at it closely, the print looks more like a white tiger than a zebra, but to keep things simple, let’s keep on calling it the « zebra-striped sweater ».

Like I said last time, I was hesitating with the one from Mango, but I got to feel the fabric in a store, and I realized that it was much too thin for the icy temperatures we’ve been dealing with lately. Also the knitting is much too loose: I’d be welcoming all the drafts, and with them, sore throats, colds and all those very invasive winter-friends…

It’s true there is a price difference between the two (and it would have been a good budget option for me to like the Mango sweater better) but the one from Iro is really very warm, and I think it’ll go with a lot of other wardrobe options (a pair of red slim-cut pants for example … yes yes, I’m still searching, still haven’t found the time to pop into a Zara store!) Well, one less in the list, what will be next? (English translation by Bleu Marine)
