Light and long-dressed

This season, I am very pleased with the come back of the large pants and other culottes… and yet, I couldn’t imagine I would one day say that considering my reluctance to wear them during my teenager years.

In fact, this year, I really like the large pants with high-waisted. It allows me to wear crop-tops without unveiling my belly button (I have previously done it in the 90s and I am not sure it was the smartest idea).

The last binge-shopping: these laced up ballerinas which look somehow like the Aquazurra ballerinas, worn in a look that enables me to stay looking fresh during these sweltering temperatures, while protecting me from the sun (=I ‘ve got this Asian syndrome consisting in an extreme fear of getting tan and an omnipresent fantasy of an immaculate skin).

I told you, you would see my dungarees often this summer (Hooray! We can finally call summer… summer!). This time, I wanted to show you a more feminine facet but still comfy, you know me now.

Here are a few pictures taken in front of the graffiti painted by the artist Alec Monopoly, which will reawaken the nostalgic memories of crazy parties of game, made of unaffordable property transactions, and “Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200” moments.

Chance !

Small touches of lace and fuchsia, here is how I was dressed up for the visit of Gabrielle Chanel’s apartment, 31 rue Cambon, as well as a very nice (and athletic) party at The Grand Palais. This day, I apparently got the chance to draw a Chance card.

Doormat Bloomingville

I recently cleaned out my shoe closet, in an effort to organize it for the upcoming summer season, even though I’m not quite sure summer is here to stay yet…

Doormat Bloomingville, winged sandals Ancient Greek sandals seen here, Snake sandals K Jacques seen here, Studded sandals Topshop seen here, Espadrilles Soft Grey (45% off) seen here, Flats Zara seen here, Leo sandals Soft Grey (35% off) seen here, B&W sandals Ancient Greek Sandals seen here, Silver sneakers Superga, Braided sandals Topshop seen here, Sandals Tokyobanhbao x Maloles seen here, Espadrilles Miista seen here

As always, it’s rather difficult for me to part with shoes, even if I don’t wear them all that often. My motto is you never know when it might be back in style or when I might need it for a specific outfit (it’s a disaster for my closet, to say the least).

One thing I did though was store my shoes and other winter boots away and make my sneakers and other summer sandals more accessible.

In this post, you’ll find a couple summer shoes defying the winter shoes team, the latter team should be saying goodbye to me until fall (…we shall see if theory meets reality!) (English translation by Bleu Marine)
