Récemment, MTV m’a demandé de choisir mes paires de baskets préférées parmi les 4 de la collection capsule Alicia Keys pour Reebok afin de les assortir à mes tenues (Vous pouvez d’ailleurs lire l’article que j’ai écrit sur le site MTV à ce sujet).
J’ai longtemps hésité en voyant les 4 paires puis j’ai finalement choisi la paire de runnings cloutées, assez passe-partout avec la juste dose de rock.
Recently, MTV has asked me to choose my favourite sneakers among the four of the Alicia Keys capsule collection for Reebok in order to match them with my outfits (you can even read the article I wrote on the MTV website on that topic).
I’ve long hesitated but I finally picked the pair of studded running shoes, which goes pretty well with everything while having yet the right dose of rock to it.
J’ai également jeté mon dévolu sur les baskets à l’imprimé « touches de piano », plus originales et fun (Elles me font penser à celles que je portais lorsque je faisais de la danse « Modern Jazz » au collège (Haha ! Vous pouvez vous moquer, le terme est super désuet maintenant mais en gros, je dansais sur du Janet Jackson ou du Dr Alban et mes parents ont encore les cassettes VHS (continuez à vous moquer…) de mes galas de fin d’année mais je pense que je vais leur demander de les cacher dans un coffre blindé fermé à clef… et de jeter la clef dans l’océan).
I’ve also set my heart on the sneakers with the « piano keys » print, more original and fun (they make me think of the ones I used to wear at the time I did « Modern Jazz » dancing at high school (Haha! You can laugh, the term is pretty obsolete now but basically I danced on Janet Jackson or Dr Alban, and my parents still have the VHS tapes (go on, laugh…) of my end of year galas, though I think I’m going to ask them to hide them in a locked armoured safe … and throw the key away in the ocean)
J’ai composé une tenue autour d’elles (pas réussi à choisir laquelle mettre ce jour-là, j’ai embarqué les deux pour les photos).
Il y a quelques années j’aurais joué le côté « sportswear » à fond avec baggy et grand sweat shirt coloré. Aujourd’hui je préfère porter mes baskets avec un look plus citadin afin de tenter d’être plus subtile. Mon manteau perfecto est encore de la partie, quelques accessoires et me voilà prête à courir dans les couloirs du métro !

A few years ago I would have totally adopted the « sportswear » look with baggy pants and a large colored sweatshirt. Today I prefer wearing my sneakers with more of a city look to be more subtle. My perfecto coat is again part of the game, a few accessories and here I am all set to run in the subway corridors!
