Je viens de passer quelques jours à Francfort où la canicule a fait rage mais d’une manière un peu moins abrupte qu’à Paris. Voici donc l’une de mes tenues Francfortoises avec cette chemise légèrement transparente qui m’a protégée avec légèreté du soleil de plomb.

J’ai ressorti mon jean Flare pour une allure un peu Seventies et déambulé dans les allées d’un festival local en l’honneur de l’apfelwein (= qu’on pourrait traduire par vin de pomme). C’est une boisson très populaire en Allemagne (…enfin à Francfort en tous cas ! J’en ai vu partout !)… une sorte de cidre mais en plus acidulé.  À boire avec modération ! En effet, je risquerais bien de trébucher, du haut de mes socques en bois ! (Cela dit, je n’ai pas forcément besoin d’apfelwein pour que ça arrive…)

I’ve just come back from a couple days in Frankfurt, where the heat wave is also raging, even if it less strongly than in Paris. So this is one of my Frankfurt outfits, with this slightly see-through blouse, that gently protected me against the blazing sun.

I got my pair of Flare jeans out of the closet for a somewhat Seventies look, and went wandering through the streets in the midst of a local Apfelwein festival (=could be translated as apple wine). It’s a very popular drink in Germany (…well, at least in Frankfurt it is! It was everywhere!) …a type of cider, but a bit more tangy. To be enjoyed in all moderation! Indeed, I could end up tripping over my wooden clogs! (Although, after all, I might not need any Apfelwein for that to happen…) (English translation by Bleu Marine)
