On m’a proposé de participer à un concours pour créer le tee shirt de l’été pour la chaîne de télé France Ô. Je m’y prends un peu tard puisque la date limite de participation c’est demain ! (D’ailleurs, les règles du jeu sont ici). Mais je me suis dis qu’il fallait tout de même que je vous montre ce que j’avais imaginé.
J’ai pensé immédiatement à un détournement de marinière (puisque c’est un peu mon vêtement fétiche). Les vagues marines remplacent ainsi les lignes droites d’une marinière classique. Et voguant au milieu des flots, un petit poisson. Jusque là, tout est logique.
Puis, pour rendre hommage au Ô de France Ô, il se trouve qu’un « Ô » fait office d’oeil au poisson orange, lui-même aux couleurs de la chaîne. Bref, message un peu crypté puisque la chaîne se veut tournée vers le monde, ouverte au métissage… Mon poisson orange est donc issu d’une belle histoire d’amour entre un poisson rouge et un poisson jaune, le brassage des ethnies dans toute sa splendeur, haha !
Ce tee shirt, je l’imagine avec une coupe assez simple, en coton fluide, pour qu’il puisse être porté aussi bien par les femmes que les hommes. Tokyobibi s’est même dévouée pour vous le montrer en situation. Je ne sais pas si le jury appréciera mais en tous cas, j’ai bien aimé le challenge. Wait and see comme on dit par ici.
I’ve been asked to take part in a competition to create the summer tee shirt for the France Ô TV channel. I’m running a little late since the participation deadline is tomorrow! (you can read about the terms and conditions here). Still, I thought I had to share with you what I had imagined.
I immediately thought about a variation of the breton shirt (since it’s my favorite garment). Navy waves would replace the usual stripes. And right in the middle of the waves, a little fish. So far, everything is logical.
Then, to pay tribute to the Ô of France Ô, it turns out that an « Ô » serves as an eye of the orange fish, which is itself in the colors of the TV channel. So actually, a slightly cryptic message since the channel means to be outward-looking, open to cultural diversity… My orange fish is therefore the result of a beautiful love story between a red fish and a yellow fish, the ethnic mix in all its splendor haha!
This tee-shirt, I imagine it with a pretty simple cut, made out of fluid cotton, so that it can be worn by women just as well as by men. Tokyobibi has even devoted herself to show it to you in situation. I don’t know if the jury will like it but in any case, I really liked the challenge. Wait and see as we say over here.
