Je vous ai dit que je cherchais un manteau de couleur, je commence par le gilet : Il faut y aller doucement avec moi, vous devez le savoir ! Mais attention, soldé ! En laine en plus. Du coup il me sert de manteau ( OK, j’ai mis 2 couches de thermolactyls (trop glam!) en dessous mais c’est comme si). Et comme la couleur moutarde, je ne sais pas trop avec quelles couleurs ça peut s’assortir à part le gris et le noir , je l’assortis avec du gris et du noir ( La suite dans les idées , toujours ).
Et je porte ce collier sous le col de ma chemise pour un effet « Prêtre New Age » . Les soldes ont donc commencé pour moi en ligne, avec ces deux choses venant tout droit de Urban Outfitters. Je me tâte encore pour savoir si je me déplace physiquement dans l’antre de la folie mercredi prochain (= les pantalons, je n’arrive pas à les commander par correspondance! Mes fesses me jouent toujours des tours!) ou si je joue le coup du destin en déboulant seulement à la fin des soldes. L’avenir me le dira. Amen.
I had told you I was looking for a coat of a certain color, but I’m starting with the cardigan : I have to take it slow, as you should know by now ! But wait, it was on sale ! And wool too. So it actually serves me as a coat (OK, I put two layers of insulating thermolactyls underneath, but it still counts). And since I don’t really know what this mustard color goes with, apart from gray and black, I wore it with gray and black (what an incredible idea! Always, yes, I know).
And I’m wearing this necklace underneath my shirt collar for a « New Age Priestess » effect. Online sales have begun for me as you can see, with these two items straight out from Urban Outfitters. I’m still pondering whether or not I should physically step inside what is very likely to be close to hell next Wednesday (= pants, I can’t order them online! My butt always plays tricks on me!) or if I should trust in fate all the way, by going in only at the very end. Future will tell. Amen. (English translation by Bleu Marine)

L’iPad de Apple : J’ai résisté depuis le début mais Papa Noël en a décidé autrement cette année ! Depuis, je découpe frénétiquement des fruits avec le jeu Fruit Ninja, surfe allègrement de site en site et fais mumuse avec photobooth. Il ne me reste plus qu’à trouver une pochette sympa maintenant!
L’ordinateur portable Dell Inspiron 15R : ( offert par MyWardrobe et Dell ) : Il possède des coques interchangeables ( pour jouer à fond le jeu de l’assortiment comme Thierry Lhermitte). Ma préférée est celle à pois rose et blanc… parce que j’ai le vernis qui va avec !
La BD « Paul au parc » de Michel Rabagliati : ( Paul, c’est une série de 7 BD et ayant entendu beaucoup de bien à son sujet, je voulais commencer ma collection par « Paul à Québec » mais le Papa Noël ( …et le stock des librairies ) en a décidé autrement. Je suis cependant ravie : l’histoire est tendre, drôle, nostalgique : j’ai hâte de compléter ma collection!
et et et… la couverture de ma 2ème BD qui révèle ainsi son titre : « Globe-trotteuses » : Normalement dans les bacs le 8 Février prochain!
I’m a little late, but here is what I got for Christmas : no fashion but much more « technology » oriented gifts, and in the middle of it all, a little surprise for you : a sneak peek at what you’ll find at your local bookstore in less than a month … Yeehaa!
Apple’s iPad : I had resisted since the beginning, but Santa Claus decided otherwise this year! Since, I’ve been frantically cutting up fruit with the Ninja Fruit game, I surf from website to website and play around with Photobooth. Now I only have to find a fun iPad Case!
The Dell Inspiron 15R laptop : ( gift from MyWardrobe and Dell ) : it has interchangeable computer shells (to go matchy-matchy all the way). My favorite is the pink and white polka dots one … because I have a matching nail-polish!
Michel Rabagliati’s « Paul in the Park » comic book : (Paul is a serie of 7 comic books, and I’ve heard nothing but praise about it. I initially wanted to start my collection with « Paul in Quebec », but Santa Claus ( and the shops’ available stock ) decided otherwise. I’m still delighted though : the story is sweet, funny and nostalgic : I’m eager to complete my collection !
and and and … drumroll please : the cover of my second comic book, thus revealing its title : « Globe-trotteuses » (= Globe-trotters ) : available in your bookstores starting the 8th of February! (English translation by Bleu Marine)
